SPECIFICATION WRITER: CHOOSING HIGH QUALITY EPDM MEMBRANES

As a specifier for EPDM membrane or other EPDM suppliers you are perhaps the most important link between the producer and the final installer of our material. If the specifications or Statement of Requirements leaves the door open to different interpretations, then this can result in failure costs and changes to the design.

For HERTALAN® it is therefore important to support you not only with the necessary information, but also with good knowledge and useful tools. A flat roof always consists of a support structure and a roof deck which combined are referred to as the substructure. This substructure is decisive in the choice and method of attachment of our a HERTALAN® EPDM membranes.

It is important to determine which HERTALAN® EPDM systems are suitable for each project and therefore it is vital to have an insight into the determination of the design of the roof. Each roofing system has its own Tender description, in which all necessary details are described. Hertalan specification texts leave no room for misinterpretation.
